Certified Professional Positive Reinforcement Dog Trainer.

I graduated from the Internationally recognized Karen Pryor Academy and have received the Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner through their organization. Among that, I have also graduated from the Dog Behaviour Training Methodology through the Edmonton Humane Society, The Dogs in Aggression
Mastercourse with Micheal Shikashio, and pride myself with continually educating myself through courses and seminars of science based modern approaches to dog training.

I base my training on always setting your pup up for success, and in turn build confidence, as well as a trusting relationship through dog and owner.

I have now been training for four years and I am so excited to join the Second Pup Family and hope to bring value to all of their clients!

Group Classes

Puppy School - Puppies 10-24 weeks old

$350 + GST - 6 weeks, 1 hour class

To establish foundational habits that will strengthen your bond with your puppy & prepare you for more advanced training in real-world environments.
Covers: sit, down, nose target, heel, loose leash walk, learn recall, fun tricks, and socialization to many things. Some puppy play included at the end of each class!

Behavioural Fundamentals- 6 months & up

$375 + GST - 6 weeks, 1 hour class

Meeting your dog's needs, providing opportunities for social development, maintaining a positive relationship. Motivating with enthusiasm & respect will create a happy, well adjusted family member
Addresses: issues that we tend to see in adolescence and adulthood that could be undesirable like jumping, counter surfing, pulling on leash, recall, and whatever other issues you may be seeing! Basic obedience will also be included to keep your pup refreshed on all their cues.

Feel Better Together- Reactive Class

$420 + GST - 5 weeks, 1 hour class

I'm feeling stressed, anxious & unsure. Yes, I have some extreme emotions

There will be only 1-3 pups in class with appropriate spacing/barriers for you & your dog's needs

My dogs behaviour:

Barking & lunging
Leash reactivity
Pulling on leash
Barrier frustration
Body tense, hyper alert, stares intensely
Starts to growl or "huff"

Covers: desensitization and counter conditioning, decompression, relaxation protocols, pattern games., exit strategies, loose leash walking, and focus exercise
