Welcome to the Second Pup, where we offer a premium overnight service tailored for friendly, social pups. During their stay, your dog will engage in daycare activities throughout the day and relax in their cozy overnight space during rest time and at night.
Our inviting and spacious home boasts a beautiful two-acre, fully fenced yard, creating the ideal environment for your pup to run and play – all within the convenience of city limits!

Our open-concept layout recreates the comforts of your home, featuring luxury couches, cozy beds, a variety of toys, and, of course, plenty of belly rubs.

Our home is equipped with a cutting-edge Pure Air purification system, utilizing UV rays to prevent odors and destroy bacteria, ensuring a healthy atmosphere for your furry friend and our staff.
Routine-Friendly
If your dog spends time in a kennel while you are away from home or at night then we recommend keeping that routine while here, as we recognize the importance of comfort & routine.
Cleaning protocol & Enhancing Air Quality
We use an Electrostatic & spray ULV fogger machine throughout our home, which provides superior sanitation & disinfection (kills 99.99% of bacteria, viruses & fungi) while maintaining a safe environment (NFS certified). It is environmentally friendly & non irritating to skin.

Weekday Routine
We offer daycare and boarding during the week, closing at 6 pm. By bedtime, all our overnight guests are comfortably settled in their designated sleeping areas. We return to the property between 8:30 pm and 10:00 pm ensuring they have the opportunity to do their business one last time before bed. We return the next day at 6:30 am to do the morning routine!
Weekend
Routine
We have boarding dogs during the weekends and close by 4:00 pm. Just as during the weekdays, we return between 8:30 pm and 10:00 pm to ensure our guests have the opportunity to do their business one last time before the morning!
For added security, our property is equipped with TELUS Smart Home technology, complete with live security response, smoke, fire, and motion detectors, as well as temperature, water and carbon monoxide sensors, we have both indoor and outdoor cameras. We have an added a secondary system from Omnishield to provide extra protection and backup to our existing system.
We understand that our style of care may not suit all dogs, so we assess each guest individually to ensure we are both a good match!
If your pup is friendly and eager to socialize with other VIPs (Very Important Pooches) during their holiday, give us a visit. We guarantee a safe and loving stay in our clean, welcoming home.
Reminders
A trial daycare day is mandatory before a boarding stay.
Please bring your own food; we provide bowls, toys, beds, and blankets.
Morning drop-off is required, and we kindly request adherence to our drop-off and pick-up times.
Monthly vet-prescribed flea/tick/lice treatment is necessary, along with yearly fecal tests and deworming.
Regular daycare attendance is encouraged for your pup's comfort.
Up-to-date vaccinations required & all dogs must be spayed or neutered by 1 year of age.
