Vaccinations
Ensuring the well-being and safety of every furry guest is our top priority at the Second Pup.
To maintain a healthy environment, we require the following vaccinations for all pets:
-
DA2PP: This is a multivalent vaccine that offers protection against canine distemper, adenoviruses type 2, parainfluenza, canine parvovirus, and canine coronavirus.
-
Rabies: This vaccine protects against the rabies virus.
-
Bordetella: Also known as canine cough, Bordetella vaccination is recommended. If this is your dog’s first time receiving the Bordetella vaccine, it's advised to administer it at least 10 days before your dog’s stay with us. For more information on Bordetella, please review the following website: click here.
-
Fleas and Ticks: To prevent fleas, ticks, and lice, we kindly request the use of a veterinarian-prescribed preventative treatment, which should be used monthly.
-
Deworming: Annual deworming is recommended for your pet’s well-being.
-
Puppies can attend after their second set of vaccinations.
-
We do accept Titer testing.
